A Quick Overview of the Book
It is a pretty simple book 91 pages with a white background and black text. The background and text are just fine, but maybe he would have done better with an Ebook to follow and better design.
The information inside is pretty SIMPLE TO FOLLOW. You just need to fast once or twice a week with the aim of getting 24 hours break from food within the one week.
2,000 calories for women and 2500 for women are recommended per a day but never fast on consecutive days. According to Pilon, you create a calorie deficit of 10% by fasting for 20-24 hours a week. On your fasting days, he recommends taking only a few calories. He goes further to recommend things like coffee, tea, diet soda, plain or sparkling water.
When you break your fast, eat whatever you like but still do it in moderation to avoid undoing the Eat Stop Eat Results. He breaks a number of proteins you can take recommending 20-30 grams of high-quality proteins after every four hours.
The plan works, and those who find that they are gaining weight between the fast should cut on the amount they take on non-fasting days.
