Make sure you always include protein in your diet.
Water- Make sure you drink a lot of water throughout the day to aid in digestion. Drinking 6-8 glasses of water daily is highly recommended.
Homemade juices and soups- these are full of nutrients, and they will help you feel full. Go for soups like lentil soup for dinner or make juices from fruits like apples, oranges, kale, celery, and kale for breakfast or as a snack.
You can also go for green tea. It is great for weight loss and making it your drink choice will help you maintain a lean and slender body.
Wine in moderation is also considered fine but keep away from beer and sodas. Even diet soda has been found to increase BMI, the weight size, and the total fat percentage. Replace sugary drinks with water, and you will have managed to save up to 200 calories daily.
Vitamin D- this vitamin helps you build muscle strength. Many people have vitamin D deficiency and thus the reason to supplement it. Staying out in the sun for at least 15 minutes will give you the required vitamin D but if you cannot access any sunlight, then consider taking vitamin D supplements.
Magnesium- this is a muscle relaxer that helps you sleep well. Getting enough sleep is very crucial for weight loss. Magnesium will, therefore, help you lose weight and stay in shape while regulating your blood sugar levels and blood pressure. Incorporate resistance training – the more muscles you have, the more active you become. Having more muscles mean burning more calories daily. The only way to gain more muscles is through resistance training. You will require a lot of energy to grow and maintain your muscle mass. Don’t do excessive cardio- the more you do cardio exercise, the more your body gets adapted. Your body will eventually get used to you running for hours by becoming fuel efficient. When you overdo cardio, your body will adapt to burning the fewest amount of calories in an attempt to help you run even longer using less energy. In the end, you will be forced to do more cardio to achieve the same fat-burning effect as before. Skip excessive cardio and instead feed your body more beneficial food.
Weighing yourself too frequently could lead to discouragements. Wait for at least two weeks before weighing yourself.
Track and record everything

Once you know the number of calories you need, proceed to keep a record of whatever you eat to know how close you are to your specific caloric intake. This way, you will be able to break down the calories into smaller nutrient ratios. Start with a ratio of 40:40:20 diets, where 40% is calories from carbs, 40% from protein, and 20% from fat.
