A direct approach to weight loss like starvation, exercise and stress control can be effective, but in order to increase the efficiency of the process, there are certain techniques one must follow. These techniques often involve certain timings and regulations.

Eat at the right time

Food must be eaten at proper timings. Irregular meal timings can hamper your metabolism, which may lead to severe obesity. Calorie intake also plays an important role in determining the onset of obesity. One must increase the percentage of fruits and vegetable in their diet in order to facilitate the process of losing fat. As the percentage of food which is converted to fat is lowest during mornings, it is always advised to have a hearty meal during breakfast followed by lunch and dinner. Most of the calories which are consumed during breakfast are primarily used to synthesize useful components in the body. In case of dinner, a large part of the calories consumed is stored in the form of fats, which increases the composition of fat in the body.

Alcohol consumption speeds up the process of fat accumulation in the body. In certain developed countries like the USA, fast food centers are common. There’s almost a junk food center across every street which induces laziness in people who prepare food at home.

Why not buy something delicious for a really low cost instead of putting a lot of effort for cooking food at home?

Probably that’s the first thought which strikes most of the obese people when they plan to cook food at home. Bacon is consumed for breakfast in a few households. As everyone knows, bacon has abnormal levels of fat in it which is harmful in case of regular consumption. Even someone like Warren Buffet is known to start the day with a bowl of ice-cream. As I mentioned before, fatty foods are not advisable at all no matter what time of the day it is.

There’s a popular technique which must be followed in order to lose fat. Instead of eating three big meals, namely breakfast, lunch and dinner, one must split each meal into two parts, leaving considerable time i.e. 2 hours between each meal. This technique ensures that useful nutrients are absorbed more effectively by the small intestine, whereas the ordinary meals are shoved down the throat in large quantities which reduces the efficiency of absorption.

Choose the right kind of exercise

Not all exercises have the same effect on the human body. Each and every exercise has its own specialty. Certain exercises like squats help in reduction of belly fat while pull-ups may not have the same effect. Burning fat has nothing to do with weightlifting or any sorts of similar hardcore exercises. Simple activities like running, jogging, swimming increase the rate of fat reduction by a large amount. Swimming is particularly helpful in fat reduction. Simple activities like using the stairs instead of elevators can really help in losing body weight.

In case you aren’t a fan of exercises, try any sport which you find to be interesting. Sports can help in losing fat at a rapid pace. Though indoor sports aren’t as effective as outdoor sports in burning fat and increasing fitness, they make you sharp and attentive which is the first step in losing weight. These activities slowly improve the metabolism of the body by making it fit and healthy. Sore muscles can be a common occurrence during the initial days of exercise, but gradually the body gets adjusted to the changes.

Maintain proper mental health

Mental health plays an important role in determining the level of physical fitness. Proper mental health maintains a healthy balance in the body which helps in keeping the body fit and healthy. Lack of control over emotions greatly hampers your attempts to lose weight. Poor mental health can affect the balance between hormones in the body. Depression makes the process more troublesome as it may lead to long-term side effects like loss of appetite, etc. It also hampers the functioning of the pancreas which may lead to permanent organ damage in case of obesity.

In order to lose weight with the lowest possible effort, one must follow a set of rules without fail. These rules help the body to respond to the minimal effort applied, thus making it fit and healthy in a short span of time.

Taking out time for your physical health is really important if you wish to go a long way ahead without any kind of physical hindrance. Moreover, a fit body automatically eliminates at least half of the diseases from your life right away. Let us discuss some of the points which might help you out to get lean as quickly as possible, that too without taking out a lot of time to contribute to sole physical activities.

Tips to get Lean as Quick as Possible:

  • Increase the amount of Fiber in Your Meals: Increasing the amount of soluble fiber intake actually lowers our appetite without having a bad effect on our digestive system. The principle behind this phenomenon is that fiber forms a gel inside our body as soon as it enters the digestive tract, which moves slowly throughout our digestive system which makes us feel full and lowers down our appetite. Moreover, fiber is known to absorb fats from our body which further helps reduce weight and get leaner as soon as possible. Moreover, soluble fiber is also known to lower down the blood cholesterol levels. Talking about the insoluble fiber, it helps the bowel movement and contributes to a healthy digestive system.
  • Take a note of Everything: Start noting down each and every single thing related to your diet, physical activities and other chores. Start keeping a track on the number of steps you have been taking daily. Try to walk at least 10,000 steps on a daily basis. Try to have a walk in between work breaks and television commercial. Going out for a 10 minutes’ walk before going to the bed can do wonders for your body. Take a note of your daily calorie intake. Try to cut down 500 calories from your regular intake. Start keeping a track of daily water intake. Ensure that you drink at least 3-4 liters of water daily and if you are into performing physical activities that might lead to sweating, raise the bar to 5-6 liters.
  • Retain Protein Intake: Proteins can actually turn out to be a savior while you are working on lowering down your weight and becoming lean. Protein intake helps you retain your muscle weight while you are losing your weight. The main thing to be concentrating while becoming lean is the body fat but not the weight exactly.
  • Start Eating Healthy: Only exercising cannot make your body completely fit. The most important thing while trying to lose weight is to start eating healthy. The best way to do so is by surrounding yourself with only and only fat-free and healthy food products. Moreover, before leaving your house, eat a bit of that healthy food so that you eat less of the junk food from outside, whether at a party or an outing with your friends. Give away all the unhealthy products from your kitchen and restock your products with only fat-free products. Also, keep a check of the calories of all the liquids that you have been taking. Avoid packaged liquids which may contain artificial sweeteners and tastemakers. Switch to fresh fruit and vegetable juice instead.
  • Sleep: Resting is as important as performing any other activity that might be helping you to lose weight. Not getting enough sleep can hinder our body metabolism, which directly deals with our digestive system. Moreover, if we do not get completely refreshed, it is most likely for us to get less involved in physical activities throughout the day and also feel tired and stressed due to which can lead to overeating. Getting a complete 8-hour sleep throughout the day is really important for our body to function efficiently.

There is another kind of people who prefer exercising many hours during a day with a big belief that it is the only way of reaching the dream. Surely, regular workouts help to stay healthy and live longer. However, doing only intense exercises isn’t considered as the key to losing significant weight. There’s the last type of people who simply cannot live with this strict eating or exercising regimes but still, they have a really big wish of losing the unnecessary weight.
