A direct approach to weight loss like starvation, exercise and stress control can be effective, but in order to increase the efficiency of the process, there are certain techniques one must follow. These techniques often involve certain timings and regulations.

Eat at the right time

Food must be eaten at proper timings. Irregular meal timings can hamper your metabolism, which may lead to severe obesity. Calorie intake also plays an important role in determining the onset of obesity. One must increase the percentage of fruits and vegetable in their diet in order to facilitate the process of losing fat. As the percentage of food which is converted to fat is lowest during mornings, it is always advised to have a hearty meal during breakfast followed by lunch and dinner. Most of the calories which are consumed during breakfast are primarily used to synthesize useful components in the body. In case of dinner, a large part of the calories consumed is stored in the form of fats, which increases the composition of fat in the body.

Alcohol consumption speeds up the process of fat accumulation in the body. In certain developed countries like the USA, fast food centers are common. There’s almost a junk food center across every street which induces laziness in people who prepare food at home.

Why not buy something delicious for a really low cost instead of putting a lot of effort for cooking food at home?

Probably that’s the first thought which strikes most of the obese people when they plan to cook food at home. Bacon is consumed for breakfast in a few households. As everyone knows, bacon has abnormal levels of fat in it which is harmful in case of regular consumption. Even someone like Warren Buffet is known to start the day with a bowl of ice-cream. As I mentioned before, fatty foods are not advisable at all no matter what time of the day it is.

There’s a popular technique which must be followed in order to lose fat. Instead of eating three big meals, namely breakfast, lunch and dinner, one must split each meal into two parts, leaving considerable time i.e. 2 hours between each meal. This technique ensures that useful nutrients are absorbed more effectively by the small intestine, whereas the ordinary meals are shoved down the throat in large quantities which reduces the efficiency of absorption.

Choose the right kind of exercise

Not all exercises have the same effect on the human body. Each and every exercise has its own specialty. Certain exercises like squats help in reduction of belly fat while pull-ups may not have the same effect. Burning fat has nothing to do with weightlifting or any sorts of similar hardcore exercises. Simple activities like running, jogging, swimming increase the rate of fat reduction by a large amount. Swimming is particularly helpful in fat reduction. Simple activities like using the stairs instead of elevators can really help in losing body weight.

In case you aren’t a fan of exercises, try any sport which you find to be interesting. Sports can help in losing fat at a rapid pace. Though indoor sports aren’t as effective as outdoor sports in burning fat and increasing fitness, they make you sharp and attentive which is the first step in losing weight. These activities slowly improve the metabolism of the body by making it fit and healthy. Sore muscles can be a common occurrence during the initial days of exercise, but gradually the body gets adjusted to the changes.

Maintain proper mental health

Mental health plays an important role in determining the level of physical fitness. Proper mental health maintains a healthy balance in the body which helps in keeping the body fit and healthy. Lack of control over emotions greatly hampers your attempts to lose weight. Poor mental health can affect the balance between hormones in the body. Depression makes the process more troublesome as it may lead to long-term side effects like loss of appetite, etc. It also hampers the functioning of the pancreas which may lead to permanent organ damage in case of obesity.

Yes, you had me correct, spare only two minutes of your day and be on your way to achieving that super cool body figure. Surely even with the busiest schedule, you can manage to set aside two minutes to or your health.

There are simple weight loss exercises you can do as you brew your cup of coffee. Fitness plans that can be implemented within two minutes have devised to help busy people just like you. These sets of exercises are designed in a manner that they de-stress, awaken, liven or soothe you.

You must have a plan to lose weight, and that goes without saying. Set goals now so that you know what you must aim for when starting your weight loss journey. Getting the weight you desire starts by making the right choices. This is why two minutes is enough although it seems woo-woo for some people.

Here are some simple tips to help you lose weight in under just two minutes.

Do food journaling

Food journaling is whereby you take notes of what you eat on a daily basis. It really does not matter whether you eat a clean, balanced diet or not. Journaling down everything you eat will help you keep track on your weight loss plans and see the effect the foods have on you. Surely this won’t take more than two minutes of your time!

All that is needed to keep track of your diet is small notebook one that could easily fit in your pocket. Your notebook can be labeled into six different parts that represent:

  • Breakfast
  • Mid-morning snack
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon snack
  • Dinner
  • Evening snack

You probably see I have included the mid-morning and evening snack as most people find themselves snacking on something at these periods.

Your notes should help you control your eating habits. In addition to jotting down what you ate, try and write down what you were doing during these periods. This will enable you to understand what causes your cravings and how best to control them. Were you just watching TV or out with friends? How were your feelings?

Caution: With food journaling, you need to be 100% HONEST with yourself if it has to work for you. You’re not lying to anybody but only you if you try to write the wrong information down.

Two minutes Yoga Exercise in the morning

What is the first thing you do every morning? Is your health and weight goal on that list of first things to do? Go right ahead and perform a two-minute yoga exercise as a way to start your morning. It requires no trainer and equipment and can be done in the comfort of your bedroom.

Bend two sides for a few seconds taking five breath swings. Take a small break and then repeat the same. A 15-second break and 45 seconds of swings can do wonder to your health. These exercises can be repeated in your office in the afternoon and evening.

Believe in yourself

This doesn’t require time but a determination to achieve your goals. Losing weight requires that we believe in ourselves. This should be properly the first step in trying to lose weight. Even before you start any workout plan or diet regimen, just believe in yourself knowing you will reach your desired weight.
